Robert Finley

Robert Finley

Robert Finley was born in the UK and started to play the piano at the age of 7. He studied piano at Trinity College of Music in London and gained the ARCM diploma with Honors from the Royal College of Music. He studied privately with famous concert pianists in the UK and USA. He has given recitals in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Russia Israel, Argentina and Japan and played concertos with orchestras including recently the Fort Worth Symphony (Rachmaninoff Concerto no. 1). He won prizes in international piano competitions and played in festivals. He founded the biennial Boston International Piano Competition in 2001. He worked as an electronics engineer until his retirement in 2006.
