Max Sung
Max Sung is a medical doctor in clinical practice. He also loves music, and had devoted many hours in his youth to piano practice. Prior to entering college, he was awarded a one-year fellowship to study piano with Professor Helmut Roloff in Berlin, Germany. In college, he decided to focus on a career in medicine, but took chamber music and theory courses with Earl Kim and Leon Kirchner at Harvard University. Many years later, his interest in piano performance was rekindled after a chance meeting with Pedro Carbone, with whom he studied for a year.
